Scientific production is an arduous task that requires the utmost attention and care in its course. When trying to develop a work in this universe, it is necessary to use correct and adequate notions to achieve what is intended. In this path, it is clear that the objects involved may have extremely complex qualities, however, with fundamental importance. With regard to issues arising from the political environment, this complexity can gain much greater contours.
Being socially produced, politics has a variety of aspects and directions, whose effects are felt at different levels. It is a human practice composed of conditioning elements of asymmetrical realities, it has the capacity to renew itself and at the same time maintain retrograde aspects.
Thus, the study presented here constitutes an exercise in reflection on the mechanisms that engender political activity. It seeks to list a number of aspects that make up political action. And among the examples that can be observed in the work, the following stand out: The people/State relationship (the condition and form of treatment of the people in certain state forms); The power/politics/family relationship (emphasizing the quest for power, sustained by tradition and the influence of the family structure); The political participation of the population (with the aim of understanding the population in its condition, vision and interpretation of a certain phenomenon of the political process);
In general, the work presented here is centered and privileges the involvement of the population, which in part remains distant from the political process, with the exception of what is obligatory. People, who historically have been almost entirely excluded from the political segment, which have already been used as a mass of maneuver and today, in democratic times, have an important instrument for consolidating power in political processes. This participation, which was not a granted right, but conquered through many struggles and claims and which constitutes a mechanism of great relevance and with real (practical) and symbolic (abstract) meaning, in the most diverse spheres that the concept achieves. Thus, its development is structured following rules and norms, which, despite sometimes being transgressed, were and are institutionalized or legitimized by the practices of being and doing politics.
