Resumo:
Professional and Technological Education (EPT) refers to a set of courses and teaching programs aimed at training qualified professionals in specific areas, aiming to meet the demands of the job market. The main objective of this study was to develop a platform on the Design Thinking approach, aiming at innovation in the development process of these types of courses and guidance on the protection of these works through Copyright. The work consisted of a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, using multiple case studies as theoretical and methodological support. The methodological procedures used included a bibliographic review, intensive participant and direct observations, semi-structured interviews and a self administered questionnaire as data collection instruments. The results analyzed comprehensively indicated that the study sought to provide benefits to society, by addressing issues that supported the reorientation of the process of developing educational products, highlighting the importance of alternative approaches in the creation of Technological and Professional Education courses and the protection of these works through copyright. The hybrid approach adopted, valuing innovation and copyright protection, contributed to the training of qualified professionals and the advancement of educational practices in the area of Professional and Technological Education. Research participants demonstrated an appropriate understanding of the product, highlighting the importance of different views and perceptions in achieving the success of the experience. During the work, the technical/technological product was demonstrated as an effective and promising alternative compared to traditional methods. However, it is important to recognize that the stages of the technical/technological product process require significant time, resources and effort to make the most of the potential offered. Based on the results obtained, this work contributed to improving the quality of Technological and Professional Education, seeking to guarantee the originality and protection of the educational materials developed, thus avoiding Intellectual Property violations.
