The research in question addresses the educational dimensions present in the Ramada de Santa Luzia and Marambiré festival, cultural manifestations that play a fundamental role in the identity of Quilombo Pacoval. These manifestations have a strong identity character and contain many elements of sociability and knowledge transfer. The Festa de Ramada de Santa Luzia is a religious event that has taken place in the quilombo since the 1890s, brought by the mocambeiros and continues to this day, maintained by a family heir to the Saint who maintains the tradition of holding it without the participation of the local parish. Marambiré is a religious dance that has elements that exalt black culture, ancestry and religiosity of a people who resisted slavery, coming from farms in the municipality of Santarém/Pará and taking up residence on the banks of the Curuá River. The research was carried out in Quilombo Pacoval, municipality of Alenquer, Western region of Pará, we adopted a qualitative methodological approach based on ethnographic research. We used a variety of data collection techniques, including semistructured interviews, informal conversations, field notebooks, participant observation, conversation circles and image analysis. In this way, to carry out the analyses, we used the oral history and memory of the participants, both from the Ramada de Santa Luzia festivities and from the Marambiré components, to understand how these educational dimensions are present in the way of organizing these demonstrations, as well as within the knowledge of the community; how the transfer of these educational elements happens and how they are inserted in quilombola school education in Pacoval.
