Sustainability and Financial education are extremely important topics for the development of a more balanced, fair and sustainable society. This work is the result of a case study and aims to examine the influence of financial and sustainable education on the development of intellectual autonomy and skills of elementary school students in everyday situations that require a more active attitude on the subject. This work derives from the Financial Education Project for Sustainable Consumption, carried out with 5th grade students from the Aderbal Tapajós Caetano Corrêa School, located in the city of Santarém-Pa. The research exposes concepts, characteristics, reflections and guidelines that support the investigation, presenting the role of the school as an environment for learning knowledge and posture in social life, directly influencing the student's citizenship formation, becoming a favorable environment to promote initiation of financial education and sustainability in children's daily lives. The study also presents the applied project, its objectives and methodology, and finally, the analysis of the results, which are positive in the formation of children as sustainable consumers and transmitters of solid values. |
