This study aims to understand and consider gender issues in politics in the state of Pará, such
as the disparities and difficulties presented during the journey for the emancipation of
women's rights in decision-making power in elections and state public bodies. Through
research aimed at recognizing possible hindering factors; studies on the laws aimed at these
incentives together with analysis of inconsistencies in their applicability; statistical data and
testimonies of women directly involved in this scenario aimed at this understanding for a
dialogue on issues about gender inequalities and agendas defending women's rights within
public administration. Indeed, the approach encompassed several factors that affect the female
walk in this sphere and possible actions to dispel gender prejudices. |
