Resumo:
The use of technological resources, coupled with internet connectivity, has been a great way for students to produce knowledge. Through these it is possible to obtain various concepts of various subjects. In many schools in Brazil, teachers have used these resources as a resource in the teaching-learning process. The use of technology in the classroom is foreseen in the Common National Curriculum Base and the universalization of broadband internet and computer student relationship are goals of the National Education Program. On the other hand, in many cases, in the laboratory spaces, when existing, they do not have minimum operating conditions, either due to lack of maintenance and incentives and even internet connectivity. This work aims to make a mapping of the municipality of Santarém-PA, using the database of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research on computerization in schools, with the aim of presenting a historical series, identifying schools with existence / availability of resources in schools. Computer labs and internet connectivity on its premises. The information of interest was collected from microdata and reflects the responses of the School Census questionnaires. As results were identified the relationship between the statistical variables for the number of computers in schools in the city, the availability of internet connection, and the infrastructure of some laboratory spaces. It was found that through on-site visits that many of the school's laboratories have serious problems with (mis) use by mediators for their intended purpose.
