Resumo:
Considering the importance of the knowledge about the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil, this work had the objective of performing an exploratory analysis of the physical and chemical attributes of two soils located under different native chestnut trees. One of the chestnut trees is located in the Tapajós National Forest in the state of Pará and the other is located in the Resex of the Cajari River in Amapá. For each area of the experiment, a survey was carried out using a systematic sampling in a plot of 300 x 300 m, adopting a grid of regular spacing with 60 points, spaced, obeying the distances of 50 m between rows and 30 meters between points Of the sample. The samples were collected in the superficial layer of 0-20 cm. It was determined the texture, macroporosity, microporosity, total porosity, besides pH in water, available P and K, exchangeable Ca, Mg and Al, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu. The data were evaluated by descriptive statistics. It was verified that there is variability in the edaphic attributes studied, in both soils studied.
