Resumo:
The scope of this work was premised on a diagnosis through the Case Study that resulted in a media program on professional training, for Academics and Entrepreneurs, with a focus on Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation. The fact of identifying the main factors and limiting problems for thematic lack of knowledge and the consequences of this for a promising career culminated in the development of more assertive conditions for a better definition of content and generated media. The identification of the “bottleneck” occurred through scientific, descriptive and exploratory research, using bibliographical research, data collection, case study and observation. About the approach, the quali-quantitative method was used, based on the inductive method. As a result of the research, the contextualization of Intellectual Property in the university and business environment was raised, aiming to understand the gap between scientific and technical knowledge and the impacts on the economy, society and personal development. The survey was applied to the participants of the professional workshop on Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation. Data collect was carried out through electronic forms, in on-line mode, due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic period caused by Covid-19. At the end of the studies, was concluded that the absence of training courses adapted or directed to different audiences is the main factor that contributes to the low rate of patents for Brazilian creations.
