This research sought to understand the relationship between the conceptions of body and corporeality of PE teachers in elementary school II, from the plateau region in the city of Santarém-PA, with their pedagogical teaching practices. The adopted methodology involved a bibliographic review of scientific production on the subject of body and corporeality and field research. For the production of data, generating questions that provoked in the participants conceptions about the investigated phenomenon were used. This research had the participation of 11 teachers graduated in Physical Education who work in centers of Elementary School II, in the plateau, in the municipality of Santarém, state of Pará. For the analysis, the Technique of Elaboration and Analysis of Units of Meanings. The results showed that teachers attribute two conceptions to the body: one that configures itself as dualist when making a dichotomy between body and mind, and another that alludes to corporeality, although the latter is not clearly and specifically presented in the reports of experiences of the Participants, however, pointed out elements, traits that characterize the relationship between the body and its surroundings in a perspective of preparing the student to act in society, relating the experiences in Physical Education classes with their reality, seeking to perceive the world, critically and citizenship. A corporeidade é condição existencial do ser humano e nos leva a discutir sobre a relevância de sua abordagem na prática pedagógica. Esta pesquisa buscou compreender a relação entre as concepções de corpo e corporeidade dos professores de EF escolar do ensino fundamental II, da região de planalto no município de Santarém-PA, com suas práticas pedagógicas de ensino. A metodologia adotada envolveu revisão bibliográfica da produção científica sobre a temática corpo e corporeidade e pesquisa de campo. Para a produção de dados foram utilizadas questões geradoras que provocassem nos participantes concepções a respeito do fenômeno investigado. Esta pesquisa teve a participação de 11 professores graduados em Educação Física que atuam em escolas polos no Ensino Fundamental II, no planalto, no município de Santarém, estado do Pará. Para a análise, utilizou-se a Técnica de Elaboração e Análise de Unidades de Significados. Os resultados evidenciaram que os professores atribuem ao corpo duas concepções: uma que se configura como dualista ao fazerem dicotomia entre corpo e mente, e outra que alude à corporeidade, ainda que esta última não se apresente de forma clara e especifica nos relatos de experiências dos participantes, entretanto assinalaram elementos, traços que a caracterizam na relação do corpo com o seu entorno numa perspectiva de preparação do aluno para atuar na sociedade, relacionando as vivências nas aulas de Educação Física com a sua realidade, procurando perceber o mundo, com criticidade e cidadania. 2023-02-07T19:38:24Z 2023-02-07T19:38:24Z 2021-12-10 Dissertation AMARAL, Jarleane Galvão.
