Initially, make a summary of the history of the proponent of the course, the Core Pedagogical of Scientific Development Support (NPADC), highlighting actions and guiding principles responsible for their actions formers. Present, in sequence, demands imposed to NPADC as result of a culture of continuous formation of teachers at various levels: update; improvement; specialization; master's degree and doctorate degree. Then, put in focus the deployment process of PPC, highlighting the challenges faced in its approval, as well as, introduce elements that characterize and differentiate from other educational projects of degree courses, this level of education, in operation in the country. To support the narrative present throughout the text, make use of documents-interviews, crafts, minutes, ordinances – that help me counting this trajectory, with routes and the mishaps present in PPC implementation. And, to characterize this process, the title of conclusions and final thoughts, highlight clashes, coming and goings, regarding the demands imposed on the new course. Neste artigo, descrevo o processo de implantação do Projeto Pedagógico do Curso (PPC) que deu origem ao curso de Licenciatura Integrada em Educação em Ciências, Matemática e Linguagens (LIECML) do Instituto de Educação Matemática e Cientifica (IEMCI) da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Inicialmente, faço uma síntese da história do proponente do curso, o Núcleo Pedagógico de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Científico (NPADC), destacando ações e princípios norteadores responsáveis por suas ações formadoras. Apresento, na sequência, demandas impostas ao NPADC como resultado de uma cultura de formação continuada de professores em vários níveis: atualização; aperfeiçoamento; especialização; mestrado e doutorado. Em seguida, coloco em foco o processo de implantação do PPC, com destaque aos desafios enfrentados em sua aprovação, bem como, apresento elementos que o caracterizam e o diferenciam dos demais projetos pedagógicos dos cursos de licenciatura, nesse nível de ensino, em funcionamento no país. Para subsidiar as narrativas presentes ao longo do texto, faço uso de documentos – entrevistas, ofícios, atas, portarias – que me ajudam a contar essa trajetória, com os percursos e os percalços presentes na implementação do PPC. E, para caracterizar esse processo, a título de conclusões e considerações finais, destaco embates, idas e vindas referentes às demandas impostas ao novo curso.
