The essay body is divided into four interrelated chapters aiming at the methodology of history teaching practices, using comics as a literary genre capable of narrating long-lasting stories. For this, the work is based on the dialogue between characteristics of semiotics, typical of comics, combined with propositions of the theory of history as historical narrative, historical consciousness and historical learning. The accomplishment of this dialogue is allied to debates and research workshops held at the Ruth dos Santos Almeida School, in the National Curricular Parameters and in the historiographic clipping that precedes and initiates the Civil-Military Dictatorship, in Belém, 1964. The result of the debate of these propositions presents as a HQ product. A proposta dissertativa está pautada na linha de pesquisa Linguagens e Narrativas Históricas: Produção e Difusão, do Mestrado Profissional de Ensino de História (PROFHISTÓRIA). O corpo dissertativo está dividido em quatro capítulos que se inter-relacionam objetivando a metodização de práticas de ensino de história, usando as histórias em quadrinhos como gênero literário capaz de narrar histórias de longa duração. Para tal, o trabalho pauta-se no diálogo entre características da semiótica, própria das histórias em quadrinhos, combinadas a proposições da teoria da história como narrativa histórica, consciência histórica e aprendizagem histórica. A realização desse diálogo está aliada a debates e oficinas de pesquisa realizada na Escola Ruth dos Santos Almeida, nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais e no recorte historiográfico que antecede e inicia a Ditadura Civil-Militar, em Belém de 1964. O resultado do debate dessas proposições apresenta como produto uma HQ.
