Questions addressed include: Who are Federal University of Pará’s actual partners in the implementation of its policy?; Are they its management staff, its faculty members, the Amazonian communities, the municipalities, or the federal government of the brand new republic?; Whose are those voices and how do they echo in the documents that witnessed the beginning of the referred policy? We are grounded in notions of voices, production context (BRONCKART, 1999) and discourse genres (BAKHTIN, 2003). Two documents comprise the corpus: official documents related to the institucional policy. We analyzed how the different voices interact in enunciative texture in order to identify to what extent and in what ways the instances of enunciation can categorize the policy that allowed the expansion for this university into the state. Neste estudo, procuramos identificar os parceiros legítimos na implantação do Projeto de Interiorização da Universidade Federal do Pará, por meio da análise de documentos oficiais que tematizam o início desse processo, ocorrido em meados da década de 1980. Pretendemos recuperar, historicamente, as vozes desses parceiros num momento crucial para a constituição da UFPA. Nesse contexto, quem são os parceiros efetivos na instauração da proposta de interiorização? A gestão da UFPA, os professores, as comunidades amazônicas, os gestores públicos municipais, o governo da novíssima república? De quem são as vozes e de que modo ecoam nos textos que testemunham o início do processo de interiorização? Fundamentamo-nos teoricamente nas noções de vozes, contexto de produção (BRONCKART, 1999) e de gêneros do discurso (BAKHTIN, 2003). Constituem nosso corpus dois documentos oficiais relativos à interiorização: Pareceres 629/87 e 190/88 (MEC/CEF/SESu). Analisamos, pois, o gerenciamento de vozes na construção da enunciação nos textos em estudo, com a finalidade de identificar em que medida e de que modos as instâncias da enunciação categorizam a política responsável pela expansão dessa universidade no interior do estado.
