Briefly it is to elucidate the knowledge of the waters by the representations of the residents, their ways of living and being in space-time of rivers, boreholes, streams and forests, seeking to contribute to discussions on the Basic Education of the field in order to understand how these knowledges are included in educational dynamic in order to enhance the development of the ‘field’ from the needs of coastal subjects. Este texto é uma reflexão sobre os ‘saberes das águas’ a partir do cotidiano e movimento dos ribeirinhos na dinâmica da Amazônia paraense. Resumidamente trata-se de elucidar os saberes das águas pelas representações dos moradores, seus modos de viver e estar no espaço-tempo dos rios, furos, igarapés e florestas, buscando contribuir para as discussões sobre a Educação Básica do campo no sentido de compreender como esses saberes se inserem na dinâmica educacional de forma a valorizar o desenvolvimento do ‘campo’ a partir das necessidades dos sujeitos ribeirinhos.
