This research has as locus the fishing village in Marudá. The fishmen that inhabit this region and the route of one of existing associations in that place, Associação Beneficiente dos Pescadores de Marudá (ABPM,) will have special attention in this study that intends to understand how the capital stock as an aid process lends and confidence in the search of common objectives – involving or not fishmen and the controllers of ABPM in ways and (un)ways of association group in Marudá. The research framework used for this study was based on Putman (2007) and was complemented with studies made by other authors. This association was privileged and during some years it was the place which was perceived by ABPM. It was the only one which was conducted its objectives for the fishing production in the region making possible the analysis of association route of local fishmen. The methodology applied in this study was the application of interview script among associate informal fishmen, former-associates and non-associate fishmen in ABPM. The anthropological technique of observation and field note-taking had been relevant to establish the contact and dialogue with the studied reality. In order to aid the analyses and interpretations, the analysis technique of Bardin’s content (1977) supported the subjective interpretations during the analyses of the interviews. Although the human existence potential in order to get the politics organization of local fishmen, the practical of association group in Marudá present some difficulties which are caused by the weak capital stock of that control the ABPM and marudaense fishmen whose predisposition for the participation is fragile. Besides this result is temporal. This is the result of the inexistence of common objectives hindering the arise of what it would have been accumulated for the reinforcement of the capital stock. A proposição dessa dissertação está focada nas discussões sobre o associativismo envolvendo as populações tradicionais na Amazônia, em especial, as ribeirinhas e pesqueiras no Nordeste Paraense, tendo como locus da pesquisa a vila pesqueira de Marudá. Os pescadores que aí residem e a trajetória de uma das associações existentes no local, em particular a Associação Beneficente dos Pescadores de Marudá- ABPM terão atenção especial nesse estudo que pretende entender como o capital social enquanto processo de ajuda mútua e confiança na busca de objetivos comuns envolve ou não os pescadores e os dirigentes da ABPM nos caminhos e (des) caminhos do associativismo em Marudá, tendo Putnam (2007) e outros autores como alicerces teóricos que balizaram essa pesquisa. Privilegiou-se essa associação pela trajetória do pesquisador que durante alguns anos, esteve no local e percebeu ser a ABPM a única associação que direcionava seus objetivos para a produção pesqueira na região, o que possibilitou a análise da trajetória associativista dos pescadores no local. A metodologia utilizada foi a aplicação de um roteiro de entrevista entre os pescadores associados informais, ex-associados e os pescadores não associados na ABPM. A técnica antropólogica da observação e anotações no caderno de campo foram importantes para estabelecer o contato e o diálogo com a realidade investigada. Para auxiliar nas análises e interpretações, a técnica de análise de conteúdo de Bardin (1977) serviu de apoio para as interpretações subjetivas nas análises das entrevistas. Como resultado temporal, notou-se que, apesar da existência de potencial humano para alavancar a organização política dos pescadores locais, a prática do associativismo em Marudá apresenta dificuldades causadas pelo fraco capital social dos que estão à frente da ABPM e dos pescadores marudaenses cuja predisposição para a participação é frágil em decorrência da inexistência de objetivos comuns impedindo o brotamento do que teria sido acumulado para o fortalecimento do capital social. 2021-03-18T15:32:54Z 2021-03-18T15:32:54Z 2008 Dissertação POTIGUAR JÚNIOR, Petrônio Lauro Teixeira.
