Resumo:
The knowledge of popular phytotherapy and its contribution to the prevention of possible risks associated with the use of medicinal plants and herbal herbal remedies are treated in this work in an approach based on Ethnopharmacy, from the dialogue with women herbalists of the ERVA VIDA group, based in the District of Marudá – Marapanim-PA. In this community and surroundings, the practice of popular phytotherapy is evidenced through the consumption of artisanal medicines produced and permanently marketed by the group, through the frequent and widespread use of medicinal plants. The herbal herbal remedies are prepared based on the wisdom accumulated over time and, through which it seeks to understand the perception of possible risks associated with the use of medicinal plants and how a possible orientation can be passed on to its users, thus originating a permanent alert service about possible problems associated with the use of these plants and medicines. It also seeks to expand the theoretical framework on this important natural resource from an ethno-toxicological approach carried out in the form of a dialogue guide that excelled in oral history, aiming to collect information that allowed evaluating the degree of knowledge of the herbs about the possible unwanted effects and risks associated with the use of herbal herbal remedies, either by the perception of their experiences or by the knowledge accumulated over time. The results allow basing actions within the scope of public health care policies, promoting the safety of the practice of popular phytotherapy in the Amazonian context of Pará, from the district of Marudá, in Marapanim - Pará. As a product, it is proposed the creation of a database that supports the Permanent Commission of Phytotherapy to be established under the PROFITIC program (Program in Phytotherapy and Complementary Integrative Practices) formed by members of the community and health professionals, among them the members from Projeto Farmácia Viva (when installed) and external members, containing terms commonly used by herbalists during the interviews and relating them to the techno-scientific terms used in the pharmacology of plant inputs.
