It must be understood that capitalist agriculture develops according to the advancement of the agricultural goods market, in addition as the urban population grows, the demand for food for general consumption and raw materials for agribusiness also increases considerably, therefore, ownership of land means that certain individuals have the monopoly that gives them the right to dispose of certain parts of the country's land as something absolutely private that no one can use without their consent and authorization. This is because the land, as the main means of production in agriculture, is not a product of human labor, that is, theoretically it has no exchange value in terms of socially necessary labor time, therefore, capitalist agriculture aims maximization of the rate of profit and hence the increased accumulation of capital. In this way, this pattern of capitalist development based on the expansion of the capitalist agricultural frontier in the region continues to this day. El principal objetivo de este artículo es discutir el proceso de expansión de la frontera agropecuaria capitalista, teniendo como base los innumerables conflictos por la tierra en la región de la Amazonia Brasileña, principalmente el Estado do de Pará. Es necesario entender que la agricultura capitalista se desarrolla de acuerdo con el avance del mercado de bienes agrícolas, además de la medida que crece la población urbana, también aumenta considerablemente la demanda por alimentos para consumo general y de materias primas para la agroindustria, por lo tanto la propiedad de la tierra significa que ciertas personas poseen el monopolio que les da el derecho a disponer de ciertas partes de tierras del país, como algo absolutamente privado que nadie puede utilizar sin su consentimiento y autorización. Esto es así porque la tierra, como principal medio de producción en la agricultura, no es un producto del trabajo humano, o sea, teóricamente no tiene valor de cambio en términos de tiempo de trabajo socialmente necesario, por lo tanto, la agricultura capitalista tiene como objetivo de producción la maximización de la tasa de beneficio y, por consiguiente, la acumulación ampliada del capital. Se percibe, de este modo, que ese patrón de desarrollo capitalista, basado en la expansión de la frontera agropecuaria capitalista en la región, continúa hasta los días de hoy.
