In order to understand this important phase of the capitalist system, it was necessary to draw an analysis from the historical and economic perspective of this context of new institutions that were emerging there. After the Second World War, there was a general transposition of the Fordist industrial logic and the pattern of mass consumption of the North American Fordist accumulation regime towards the Western European countries and Japan. In the wake of the expansion of the Fordist industrial model, accompanied by the proliferation of US industrial affiliates, US banks were behind with financial support. This regime of intensive accumulation, centered mainly on "mass consumption" and the imitation of the American way of life, could be spread rapidly due to the monopoly wages and nominal profits - a growth rate of social consumption proportional to the increase in industrial productivity. In view of the above, there is no doubt that globalization within the capitalist mode of production has greatly influenced the spread of financial capital throughout the globe, responsible for major transformations in the international division of labor. El propósito fundador del presente artículo es debatir sobre las principales transformaciones ocurridas en el ámbito de la división internacional del trabajo en el período posterior a la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Para la comprensión de esta importante fase del sistema capitalista fue necesario trazar un análisis bajo la perspectiva histórica y económica de este contexto de nuevas instituciones que allí estaban surgiendo. Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, se produjo una transposición generalizada de la "lógica industrial fordista" y del patrón de "consumo masivo" del régimen de acumulación fordista norteamericana hacia los países de Europa Occidental y Japón. En la estela de la expansión del modelo industrial fordista, acompañado de la multiplicación de las filiales industriales norteamericanas, los bancos norteamericanos seguían atrás con el apoyo financiero. Este régimen de acumulación intensiva, centrado fundamentalmente en el "consumo de masa" y en la imitación del patrón social de los norteamericanos ("The American way of life"), pudo ser difundido rápidamente debido al modo de regulación monopolista haber incorporado - en el reajuste de los " salarios y beneficios nominales - una tasa de crecimiento del consumo social proporcional al incremento de la productividad industrial. Ante lo expuesto no queda la menor duda que la globalización en el ámbito del modo de producción capitalista influenció grandemente la propagación del capital financiero por toda la parte del globo, responsables de las principales transformaciones en la división internacional del trabajo.
