Being located in low latitudes, this community has a short dry season tropical climate regime (am type climate), with stilt houses that occupy the plains that are influenced by the flood regime of the river, the "beiradão", which also offer fertile fields for polyculture agricultural activities. Thus, in general, this research work seeks to understand the production process of the space inhabited by the riverside community of Boa Esperança, at first, enumerating the aspects of the landscape in the daily life of the community, as well as, in addition to these objectives adds the construction of a certain reflexive analysis on the work relations that attribute functionality to the territorial configuration of the community. It was sought to build a certain analysis focused on spatial dynamics with the empirical observation of the socio-environmental conditions existing in the daily life studied and, for this, the research team relied on the application of form interviews and the lifting of aerial images obtained with a drone that helped in the observation of the landscape. Thus, the fact that field research activities have been built with the intention of structuring data and collecting information of spatial historical, socioeconomic and environmental relevance on the context in which the living conditions of the riverside community are developed is mentioned. of Good Hope. This, in turn, shows traces of their ancestry linked to the rubber tappers who migrated from the Northeast to work in the rubber plantations of the middle Xingu, extracting latex mainly from the native rubber trees of the region in the mid-nineteenth century, the decade 1870. Since then, labor activities such as extractivism, burning and artisanal fishing have been the basis of livelihood and trade for riverside families that were constituted with the territorialization of the aviamento system in the region, at the time of the first cycle of the rubber economy. CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior A presente pesquisa aborda questões oriundas da produção do espaço habitado pela comunidade ribeirinha de Boa Esperança, localizada em um arquipélago de ilhas fluviais à montante da cidade de Altamira-Pará no rio Xingu. Por estar em baixas latitudes, tal comunidade apresenta-se sob regime climático tropical de curta estação seca (clima do tipo am), com formações de residências palafíticas que ocupam as planícies (o “beiradão”), as quais recebem influência do regime de cheias do rio, que também propõem campos férteis para atividades agrícolas de policultura. Destarte, de maneira geral, este trabalho de pesquisa busca compreender o processo de produção do espaço habitado pela comunidade ribeirinha de Boa Esperança, a princípio, listando os aspectos da paisagem no cotidiano da comunidade, bem como, somado a esses objetivos, acrescenta-se o de construção de certa análise reflexiva acerca das relações de trabalho que atribuem funcionalidade a configuração territorial da comunidade. Buscou-se construir certa análise voltada para dinâmica espacial com observação empírica das condições socioambientais existentes no cotidiano estudado e, para tal feito, a equipe de pesquisa contou com a aplicação de entrevistas em formulário e o levantamento de imagens aéreas obtidas com drone que auxiliou na observação da paisagem. Assim, menciona-se o fato de ter ocorrido atividades de investigação em campo construídas com a intencionalidade de estruturar dados e coletar informações de relevância espacial histórica, socioeconômica e ambiental acerca do contexto no qual se apresentam as condições de vida dos ribeirinhos da comunidade de Boa Esperança. Esta, por sua vez, apresenta traços de sua ancestralidade vinculada aos seringueiros que migraram do Nordeste para trabalhar nos seringais do médio Xingu, em sua maior parcela, na extração do látex das seringueiras nativas da região em meados do século XIX, década de 1870. Desde então, atividades de trabalho como o extrativismo, o roçado e a pesca artesanal têm sido base de sustentação e de comércio das famílias ribeirinhas que se constituíram com a territorialização do sistema de aviamento na região, no período do primeiro ciclo da economia gomífera.
