This study aims the usability of rainwater collection and storage systems implemented through Program in communities on the islands and lowlands of Abaetetuba, as an alternative for water supply. The research is a qualitative approach, based in loco study and was conducted a forms application and visits to fulfill the field diary. The results showed that 96% of the participants claim to have received training for the systems maintenance and 74% reported that they use rainwater exclusively for consumption in schools. Although, the extract data diverge from this information, since it was identified that many systems are inoperative, or the community uses other sources of drinking water. From these data, a technical report model was produced and presented to the city hall, which acknowledge and systems functioning and usability overview and contribute to the improvement maintenance, conduction, and storage of rainwater for use in schools. Tendo em vista a necessidades de abastecimento de água, nas escolas e nas comunidades, na região de ilhas e várzeas do município de Abaetetuba, foram instalados sistemas de abastecimento de água da chuva por intermédio do programa Cisterna na Escolas. O objetivo dessa investigação é estudar a usabilidade dos sistemas de captação e armazenamento de água de chuva implantados por meio do Programa “Cisternas nas Escolas” em comunidades das ilhas e várzeas de Abaetetuba, como alternativa para o abastecimento de água. A pesquisa configurou-se como qualitativa, a partir de um estudo de campo e em seus procedimentos adotou a aplicação de formulários e visitas in loco para alimentar o diário de campo. Os resultados apontaram que 96% dos informantes afirmam ter recebido treinamento para a manutenção dos sistemas e 74% informaram que usam exclusivamente água da chuva para consumo nas escolas, contudo, os dados do diário de campo divergem dessas informações, pois fora identificado que muitos sistemas estão inoperantes ou a comunidade utiliza outras fontes de água para consumo. A partir desses dados foi produzida uma minuta de nota técnica para ser apresentada à prefeitura de Abaetetuba e que revelou o panorama de funcionamento e usabilidade dos sistemas, a fim de contribuir para a melhoria da manutenção, condução e armazenamento da água da chuva para uso nas escolas. 2023-10-25T15:48:31Z 2023-10-25T15:48:31Z 2020-12-22 Dissertação QUARESMA, Diogo Bastos.
