This research consisted of analyzing the importance assumed by the young researchers' formation in face of the Graduate Programs policy in Brazil, verifying the impacts of the financial investments of CAPES and CNPq funding agencies in the formation of those subjects, and the configuration of such policies in the institutional context of the Federal University of Pará. What importance does the young researchers' formation assume in face of the Graduate Programs policy in Brazil? In what measure the financial investments of CAPES and CNPq funding agencies impact the formation of those subjects? How such policies are configured in the institutional context of the Federal University of Pará? In what way the preparation of young researchers in the Graduate Programs Program of the Institute of Education Sciences of UFPA is conducted? This work is a historical study with support in the bibliographical research and documental sources involving the young researchers' formation in the higher education, with emphasis on the actions implanted in the Federal University of Pará and in the Program of Graduate in the Institute of Education Sciences of that institution, in the period of 1960 to 2009. The researchers' formation implies much more than the concession of credentials and/or training of abilities susceptible to be or not to be used, once it must be both social and institutionally characterized and, for so, it needs to be organically connected to social and institutional instances that demand researchers. The funding agencies assume a relevant posture towards the scientific policies of the Country, with significant repercussions on the education research developed inside the universities through the Graduate Programs. |
