The aim of this dissertation is to discuss part of the trajectory of the writer Haroldo Maranhão (1927-2004) through documents found in his personal archives. The study is organized according to three perspectives: Haroldo Maranhão as a reader, owner of a large bibliographic collection; Haroldo Maranhão as a journalist, member of a family that for 50 years led one of the most influential newspapers of the State of Para (Brazil), the Folha do Norte, and Haroldo Maranhão as a writer, in his constant struggles against the consolidated editorial practices. |
