The present work analyzes as the communication instruments and of technology transfer created by the Brazilian Company of Agricultural Research (Embrapa) in the "Tipitamba" project were noticed. For so much it took place a reception study with the farmers of the municipal districts of Igarapé-Açu and Marapanim towns, in the northeast of the state. The research based on communication instruments created by the team of the Tipitamba Project as educational spelling books, calendars, folders and videos with the objective of teaching them to substitute her burn of the vegetation, practice agropastoril or forest very used in the Amazonian, for the agriculture without it burns. The study the adoption of the agriculture is also verified without it burns, along two decades of existence of the Tipitamba project, contributed or it is contributing to the local development starting from the family farmers' perception inserted in that practice.
