To ground the discussion and analysis, we evaluate the bibliography on spiritualism and psychic Anna Prado, newspaper articles which are occupied in disseminating and discussing the phenomena and the role of the literate elite to expose their beliefs about the phenomena contributing to the production of more a specific interpretation on the psychic events. Este trabalho teve como principal objetivo discutir e analisar a repercussão das atividades fenomênicas da médium Anna Prado durante os anos de 1918-1923, sua importância na popularização do Espiritismo e os acirrados debates motivados pelos fenômenos.
