Resumo:
The continuous incorporation of forest areas to the production process has caused significant changes in the landscape. In the Amazon, with the advance of the agricultural frontier, as well as the consolidation of productive activities in certain areas, these changes can be seen more clearly. This problem is also observed in Regions Integration - RI Araguaia and Tapajós, Southeast and Southwest of Pará state, respectively. Thus, this study aims to use techniques of data mining and landscape metrics to identify and analyze in an automated fashion patterns associated with different types of patterns of human occupation in the Amazon, using as cut analysis landscapes, Regions Integration of the Araguaia and Tapajós in Pará State, with data of Use and Land Cover Class Terra Project for the years 2008 and 2010., also addressing methodologies aimed at identifying possible trajectories of "evolution" of the landscape in order outlining recommendations for better use of land and natural resources, and decision making for territorial management and implementation of public policy. Therefore, it was found that IR Tapajós shows strong use dynamics and land cover between the years 2008 and 2010, mainly regarding the classes of land use. However, both for 2008 and for the year 2010 can be seen that the region still has significant portion of areas with vegetation cover. As for the IR dynamics of the Araguaia use and land cover occurs differently, with significant changes between classes during the years analyzed. However, for IR Araguaia well as for IR Tapajós increased intensity of use dynamics occurs between classes grazing, and for RI Araguaia was relative loss of areas of managed grassland (pasture clean) to areas pasture with the presence of invasive (dirty pasture) or regeneration phase. The process of automated mapping of landscape typologies using the Plugin View GeoDMA the Earth was shown to be effective and accurate, since the results obtained show consistency with the reality of each region Integration analyzed.
