Resumo:
The dissertation examines the possibilities, limits and modes of development of Community Based Tourism. Specifically, it discusses the proposal of a method to value the level of attractiveness of the communities of Extractive Reserves to deploy TBC. The specific objectives were to identify the elements of tourist valuation, create a methodology for valuation of tourist attractiveness, apply this methodology in the communities of Our Lady of Nazareth Alligator Lake, Santa Maria and Santa Rita, located in RESEX Mapuá Archipelago Marajó, Pará State, empower researchers (technical and community) and interpret the data. The information was gathered based on the methodology of the analysis in Pairs, comprising in data collection and analysis from technical looks and community members. The research also aimed at the problem that involves a discussion of how to begin the process of implementation of projects for community-based tourism in protected areas, particularly in extractive reserves, and how it can be measured and valued the level of tourist attractiveness of MER's, like Mapuá. The dissertation shows that the surveyed communities have proper evaluation for possible project development of TBC, considering to remedy certain bottlenecks flagged in the final results of the research. Exposed face of the evidence, it is concluded that it is possible to value the level of tourist attractiveness of extractive reserves, through a specific unit for this type of conservation methodology as well as their adaptive capacity for applicability in other areas of preservation and protection environmental.
