The research aims to explore memory as a possibility of reconstituting and update past experiences, reflecting aspects of the circus collective identity under the methodological perspective of Oral History and material Biblio-Infographic on the theme of the circus and circus activities. Taking as points of reflection theory topics of nomadism, from Michel Maffesoli, some of the concepts of habitus structure, from Pierre Bourdieu, and circus convivial sense of Ermínia Silva, who support the comprehension that the circus has its existence based on a web of relationships of affection, tensions and overruns, configuring itself as an artistic and social collective context in which the specificities in the practice of circus and the personal and professional ties have always been at the root of the processes of construction and maintenance of the activities with circus in the Pará Amazon. CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior Esta dissertação estuda a trajetória histórico-social de artistas circenses na região do Pará, com o objetivo de investigar o estado de sedimentação da produção circense na cidade de Belém, tendo como base a análise crítica da narrativa coletada com os sujeitos da pesquisa: artistas, trupes e companhias da urbe e da rua, Circo Broadway, Circo Mega-show, Circo Atlántico; Circo Dralion; Circo Houston, mestres circenses locais e ex-alunos e professores da Escola Circo Mano Silva. A pesquisa propõe explorar a memória como possibilidade de reconstituir e atualizar vivências passadas, traduzindo aspectos de identidade do coletivo circense sob a perspectiva metodológica da História Oral e de material Biblio-Infográfico sobre o tema do circo e das atividades circenses. Tendo como pontos de reflexão tópicos da teoria do nomadismo, de Michel Maffesoli, alguns dos conceitos de estrutura de habitus, de Pierre Bourdieu, e de convívio circense, de Ermínia Silva, que dão suporte à compreensão de que o circo tem sua existência baseada em uma teia de relações de afetos, tensões e superações, configurando-se como um coletivo artístico-social no qual as especificidades da prática circense e os vínculos pessoais e profissionais estiveram sempre na raiz dos processos de construção e manutenção das atividades com circo na Amazônia paraense. 2017-03-22T16:23:19Z 2017-03-22T16:23:19Z 2013-06-02 Dissertação SOUSA, Maria Virginia Abasto de.
