This article provides data from mineralogical studies obtained through scanning electron microscope (SEM) images applied to ceramic fragments of the archaeological site "island of earth" and a trench, both located in the same name, near the Ferreira Pena Science Station, Caxiuanã region , State of Pará, as well as the archaeological site of Santa Maria, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The mineralogical aspects between them will be compared throughout this work. |
