As part of the project Natural Resources and Anthropology of Maritime, Riverside and Lake Societies in the Amazon: Study on Man's Relationships with his Environment in Fisheries Society, this work intends to carry out an exploratory study regarding the daily activities performed by women in the fishing community of Camará , located in the municipality of Marapanim, on the coast of Pará. In this sense, the angle of analysis is the woman and the so-called "house services", which this implies in revealing this universe of work thought as female and investigating the meanings it has for women themselves. From there, it is intended to contribute with information about the condition of women in fishing communities in Pará, as well as to start a work on everyday family life and the social reproduction of fishing groups in maritime fishing areas. |
