The phanerogamous flora of the restingas of the state of Pará is composed of 6 plant formations and about 300 species, among the families present, the Apocynaceae Jussieu stands out. This work aims to conduct taxonomic studies of the representative species of this family, as part of a larger project that aims to identify, describe and illustrate the species that occur in these restingas, located in the northeast of the state. For this research a survey of the species of the Apocynaceae family was done, and the collected specimens were identified by comparison with others deposited in the herbaria MG and IAN and through the existing literature, where the presence of 4 genera and 5 species were found, presented as follows: Himatanthus articutatus (VaW.) Woodson: tree up to 4 m high, leaves alternate, spiral, subsessile; limb 10.5 to 15.6 cm long and 6.2 to 7.6 in wide, apex obtuse to rounded and base attenuated. Inflorescence subterntinal, dicase. Fruit with two follicles. Mandevil/a hirsuta (Rich.) K.Schum.: scandent vine, opposite leaves, membranous; limb 4.1 to 6.8 cm long and 1.2 to 3.2 cm wide, elliptic, acuminate apex and truncate base. It is located in the open shrub formation. Mandevil/a scabra (Hoffmanns. ex Roem. & Schult.) K. Schum.: tree liana, opposite leaves, petiolate, carthaceous; limb 4.6 to 5.9 in length and 1.1 to 1.3 in width, oblong-elliptic, acuminate apex and cordate base. Lateral racemose inflorescence. Found in open shrubby field. Rhabdadenia biflora (Iacq.) Milll.Arg.: climbing liana, decussate leaves, membranous, petiolate, coriaceous; limb 7.2 to 11.2 cm long and 2.4 to 4.1 cm wide, oval, mucronate apex and cuneate base. Inflorescence lateral to subterntinal, pleiocase. It is located in the herbaceous marsh formation. Tabernaemontana angulata Mart. ex. Müll.Arg: shrub 1.5 in tall, opposite leaves, glabrous, petiolate; limb 13.4 to 19.8 in length and 4.2 to 6.5 in width, oblong-lanceolate to elliptic, acuminate apex and cuneate base. Inflorescence in summit, terminal. It is found in the understory of the formation mata de restinga.
