It has 5 Microregions, among them the Microregion of Salgado where the town of Salinópolis is located, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and presents the most beautiful beaches of Pará. It has a great variety of ecosystems such as restinga, mangrove, dryland forest, igapó forest and capoeira, which are being affected by intense anthropic use, as a consequence of the indiscriminate use of its lands for tourism and construction of houses for vacationers. This work aims to continue the inventory of moss species that occur in the different ecosystems of the northeastern region of Pará State. In this stage of the work, the samples of mosses collected during excursions to Salinópolis were studied. The material was collected randomly and identified according to the usual methodology. The results found in 140 moss samples present 21 species, distributed in 7 genera and 6 families. Sematophyllaceae, Leucobryaceae and Ca1ymperaceae, stood out both in species diversity and number of occurrences. Sematophyllum subsimplex (Hedw.) Mitt, Calymperes erosum C.Müll., Calymperespalisotii Schwaegr. and Oetoblepharum albidum Hedw. varo albidum are the most abundant species. The vast majority are corticolous species and occur in the dryland forest. Species have been observed on other substrate types, except on leaves. The interference of man in this area results in the loss of moss species, which is confirmed by comparing the results found with those from other municipalities in the Northeast Paraense. Atualmente está sendo desenvolvido o estudo dos musgos (Bryophyta) do Nordeste Paraense. Este possui 5 Microrregiões, entre elas a Microrregião do Salgado, onde localiza-se o Município de Salinópolis, às margens do Oceano Atlântico e apresentando as mais belas praias paraenses. Dispõe de uma grande variedade de ecossistemas como restinga, mangue, mata de terra firme, mata de igapó e capoeira, os quais estão sendo afetados por intensa utilização antrópica, em consequência do uso indiscriminado de suas terras, para o turismo e construção de casas para veranistas. Este trabalho tem como objetivo dar continuidade ao inventário das espécies de musgos que ocorrem nos diferentes ecossistemas da região nordeste do Estado do Pará. Nesta etapa do trabalho, foram estudadas as amostras de musgos coletadas em excursões para o Município de Salinópolis. O material foi coletado de forma aleatória e identificado de acordo com a metodologia usual. Os resultados encontrados em 140 amostras de musgos apresentam 21 espécies, distribuídas em 7 gêneros e 6 famílias. Sematophyllaceae, Leucobryaceae e Ca1ymperaceae, destacaram-se tanto em diversidade de espécie como em número de ocorrências. Sematophyllum subsimplex (Hedw.) Mitt, Calymperes erosum C.Müll., Calymperespalisotii Schwaegr. e Oetoblepharum albidum Hedw. varo albidum são as espécies mais abundantes. A grande maioria são espécies corticícolas e ocorrem na mata de terra firme. Foram observadas espécies em outros tipos de substratos, exceto sobre folhas.
