I intended to develop a reflection about the multiple contexts in which the indigenous material production is found, specifically the ceramics of the Karajá Indians, who belong to the Macro-jê linguistic trunk and live in the state of Goiás, bordering Mato Grosso, located in the Araguaia National Park. The contexts analyzed were: (a) the village, through an ethnographic reconstitution of the production of ceramic "dolls" and their meaning and use, (b) the ethnographic museum, through the demonstration of the importance of studies in this field based on the documentation of a specific collection of these Indians and, finally, (c) the research in craft stores that sell this specific production, in the case of the city of Belém. I tried, through this research, to capture the way each of these spaces uses and contextualizes this indigenous material production.
