This work was developed in an area of terra firme primary forest within the Guamá Ecological Research Area (APEG) called Mocambo Reserve and aims to calibrate the methodology to be used in biological inventory protocols, through the comparison of two models of traps, PET and PVc. The first type has already been used in faunal inventories in the Atlantic Forest Biome and the second has been used in inventories in the Amazon region. The traps are being tested together for the first time in the same type of environment. The results show that the traps do not differ in terms of species captured, but the PET trap seems to capture local species richness faster. |
