It proposes to present aspects about the historicity of the cultural manifestation of Carimbó in the stade of Pará, as well as to understand the discursive transformations from the uses of the term “Carimbozeiro”, from the explicit relationship between individual-nature, understanding this aspect as fundamentais for the formation of the identity of this social group, associated with caboclo perspective in the Amazon. It analyzes these processes as paths for an identity formation that translates into the struggle and political organization of these individuals for the guarantee of rights in the face of registration as Brazilian Intangible Cultural Heritage. We emphasize the importance of seeking to understand the process of affirmation of subaltern populations, those who were historically placed on the margins of the colonial model of society, highlighting their complex forms of social structure and political organization. O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido no formato de Dissertação de Mestrado apresentada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu em Diversidade Sociocultural do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, compondo a linha de pesquisa de Cultura e Patrimônio. Propõe-se apresentar aspectos sobre a historicidade da manifestação cultural do Carimbó do Estado do Pará, bem como compreender as transformações discursivas a partir dos usos do termo “Carimbozeiro”, através da relação explícita entre indivíduo-natureza, compreendendo esta, como fundamental para a formação de identidade desse grupo social, associada a perspectiva de caboclo na Amazônia. Analisa-se esses processos, como caminhos para uma formação identitária que se traduzem na luta e organização política desses indivíduos pela garantia de direitos, decorrente do registro do Carimbó como Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial Brasileiro.
