Resumo:
This article presents a comparative study of non-verbal predications, more specifically nominal and adjectival predications, in the languages of the Tupari branch of the Tupí family – Akuntsú, Makurap, Sakurabiat, Tupari and Wayoro. The work uses the descriptive and comparative methodology, explained by the linguistic typology addressed by Croft (2003). In order to raise the concepts related, above all, to nominal and adjectival predicates, we specifically resorted to the works of Payne (1997), Stassen (1997), Dryer (2007) and Overall, Vallejos and Gildea (2018).
