Dolichorhinotermes japuraensis, sp. n. (Rhinotermitidae,Rhinotermitinae), and Ibitermes tellustris, sp. n. (Termitidae, Nasutitermi­tinae), collected in primary rainforest near the town of Maraã on the Japurá River, Amazonas State, Brazil, are described. Drawings of the soldier's head and worker's mandibles of both new species are presented.
