The monotypic genus Decuana Dumitrescu and Georgescu 1987 is synonymized with Neoxyphinus and its type species, D. hyspida Dumitrescu and Georgescu 1987, is transferred to this genera. Confirming suspicions rose in literature, Dysderina termitophila Bristowe 1938 is transferred to Neoxyphinus and recognized as senior synonym of N. ogloblini Birabén 1953. Six new species are described, all of which known from both sexes: N. petrogoblin, from Amazonas, Brazil and Huanuco, Peru; N. gregoblin, from Andres Bello, Venezuela; N. axe, from Bahia, Brazil; N. barreirosi, from north Brazil; N. brega, from Brazil, Colombia, Guyana and Venezuela and N. caterete, from São Paulo, Brazil. O gênero Neotropical Neoxyphinus Biraben 1953 é revisto , incluindo nove espécies encontradas desde a Venezuela até o norte da Argentina . O gênero monotípico Decuana Dumitrescu e Georgescu 1987 é sinonimizada com Neoxyphinus e suas espécies de tipo , D. hyspida Dumitrescu e Georgescu 1987 , é transferida para este gêneros. Na literatura suspeitas são confirmadas através dos exemplos de, Dysderina termitophila Bristowe 1938 transferido para Neoxyphinus e reconhecida como sinônimo sênior de N. ogloblini Biraben 1953.
