We analyze the economic-ecological flows of the agroecosystems, their institutions and interactions with ecological-distributive conflicts. We use the qualitative approach and as basis the method of economic-ecological analysis of agroecosystems. As a research technique, we used semi-structured interviews, informal conversations, direct observation and secondary data. We characterize the political organization of agroecosystems, and identify the crisis of traditional management. The study concluded that the political Agroecology is fundamental in these scenarios because it allows the rupture with the fragmented vision on these agroecosystems; in addition to understanding the challenges faced. Its main role is to promote the qualitative recampesinization of the agroextractivist peasants through the overcoming of the crisis of the traditional management in course in the region. O presente estudo pretende analisar o papel do campo da Agroecologia política no cenário de camponeses agroextrativistas na Amazônia, a partir da análise de nove agroecossistemas na Ilha do Capim, Abaetetuba – Pará. Analisamos o fluxos econômicos-ecológicos dos agroecossistemas, suas instituições e interações com conflitos ecológico-distributivos. Utilizamos a abordagem qualitativa e como base o método de análise econômico-ecológico de agroecossistemas. Como técnica de pesquisa, fizemos uso das entrevistas semiestruturadas, conversas informais, observação direta e dados secundários. Caracterizamos a organização política dos agroecossistemas e identificamos a crise do manejo tradicional. O estudo concluiu que a Agroecologia política é fundamental nestes cenários por possibilitar a ruptura com a visão fragmentada sobre estes agroecossistemas; além de permitir compreender os desafios enfrentados. Seu principal papel é promover a recampesinização qualitativa dos camponeses agroextrativistas através da superação da crise do manejo tradicional em curso na região.
