Good agricultural practices are regulated by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa, whose application of the precepts results in quality products, which enrich school and third-party food in general. Federal Law No. 11,947 requires that at least 30% of the funds transferred by the National School Development Fund be used for the purchase of family farming products. However, in order for foodstuffs to be purchased, there is a need to observe good agricultural practices, aiming to guarantee the safety and quality of products, thus containing sufficient nutritional resources to ensure the healthy physical and mental development of students. A bibliographic search was carried out pertinent to the studied theme and interviews with 20 small producers. The research instrument was a checklist of Good Agricultural Practices adapted to the local reality. After each interview, an individual Action Plan was drawn up with corrective measures individually, in addition to lectures emphasizing Good Agricultural Practices and video presentation focused on the Traceability Law. Subsequently, a survey of the adjustments between the first and the second assessment was carried out with the aiming farmers. The producers' establishments, according to the analysis of the checklists, presented different percentages according to the practices applied and evaluated by producer. In general, in the diagnosis of the water and supply of the members, it was possible to observe an improvement in the conformities between the 1st and 2nd lists taking into account that the establishments that started to sanitize and keep the water tanks covered. As for the hygiene, health and training of the cooperative members, they showed an average evolution from 51.25% to 78.75%, as they stated that they were away from the production of food when they presented some illness. In the evaluation of Good Agricultural Practices, producers, due to not having an adequate hygiene and storage structure, had an adequacy percentage between 55% to 80%. However, throughout the work, some managed to acquire refrigeration equipment, increasing the percentage from 80% to 100% of conformities. As for traceability, there was a great emphasis on the evolution of conformities, going from 7.5% to 40.8%, as they understood that they must be attentive to the application of these procedures, providing their identity. At the end, it was found that good agricultural practices with the implementation of traceability are fundamental for the production of quality foodstuffs, which satisfy the food and nutritional security policy, since it contributes to healthy eating in the es colas, in addition to minimizing the rural exodus, further strengthening cooperatives and increasing producers' incomes. Este estudo visa aumentar a segurança alimentar das crianças atendidas pela alimentação escolar e diminuir o desperdício dos alimentos com a implantação de boas práticas agrícolas pelos produtores da agricultura familiar. As boas práticas agrícolas são reguladas pela Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária – Embrapa, cuja aplicação dos preceitos resultam em produtos de qualidade, que enriquecem a alimentação escolar e de terceiros de um modo geral. A Lei Federal nº 11.947 determina que sejam utilizados, no mínimo, 30% dos recursos repassados pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento Escolar com a aquisição de produtos da agricultura familiar. Mas, para que os gêneros alimentícios sejam adquiridos, há a necessidade da observação das boas práticas agrícolas, visando garantir a segurança e qualidade dos produtos, contendo, portanto, recursos nutricionais suficientes para assegurar o desenvolvimento físico e mental saudável dos alunos. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica pertinentes ao tema estudado e entrevistas com 20 pequenos produtores. O instrumento da pesquisa foi uma lista de verificação de Boas Práticas Agrícolas adaptada a realidade do local. Após cada entrevista foi elaborado um Plano de Ação individual com as medidas corretivas de forma individual, além de palestras enfatizando as Boas Práticas Agrícolas e apresentação de vídeo focado a Lei da Rastreabilidade. Posteriormente, foi realizado um levantamento das adequações entre a primeira e a segunda avaliação com os agricultores visando. Os estabelecimentos dos produtores, conforme as análises das listas de verificação, apresentaram porcentagens diversificadas mediante as práticas aplicadas e avaliadas por produtor. De modo geral no diagnóstico da água e abastecimento dos cooperados foi possível observar melhoria nas conformidades entre a 1ª e 2ª listas levando em consideração, que os estabelecimentos que passaram a higienizar e manter tampada as caixas d’água. Quanto a higiene, saúde e treinamento dos cooperados demonstraram uma evolução média de 51,25% para 78,75% pois afirmaram se afastar da produção do alimento quando apresentam alguma enfermidade. Na avaliação das Boas Práticas Agrícolas, os produtores por não ter estrutura adequada de higienização e armazenamento ficaram com percentual de adequação entre 55% a 80%. Porém, ao longo do trabalho alguns conseguiram adquirir equipamentos de refrigeração, aumentando o percentual de 80% a 100% de conformidades. Quanto a rastreabilidade teve um grande destaque na evolução de conformidades passando de 7,5% para 40,8%, pois entenderam que devem estar atentos para a aplicação desses procedimentos, proporcionando sua identidade. Ao final, constatou-se que as boas práticas agrícolas com a implantação da rastreabilidade são fundamentais para a produção de gêneros alimentícios com qualidade, que satisfaçam a política de segurança alimentar e nutricional, uma vez que contribui para a alimentação saudável nas escolas, além de possibilitar a minimização do êxodo rural, fortalecendo, ainda, o cooperativismo e aumento da renda dos produtores.
