For this, it diagnosed how the current dynamics adopted in its management processes contribute or not to promote the integration and cooperative education of associated family farmers, in order to encourage them to participate in decision-making processes, with equity and transparency, in the search for deepening of self-management. During the dissertation, a participatory action plan was developed, using the action research methodology, to identify and detail the actions, instruments and governance channels for effective use and that, in fact, help for the self-management of the cooperative. This stage of the research was supported by authors such as Singer, Pinho, Schneider, Buttenbender, et al, and Sabourin, in order to verify the emergence of the cooperative philosophy and its importance for family farming and solidarity economy in Brazil. It was also sought to answer how changes in the governance of management in popular cooperatives influence self-management processes? COOPRIMA would be practicing a form of resistance, an alternative to being an appendix to the capitalist company, in which the supposedly self-managed work would end up being functional to the accumulation, by the flexibility in the use of the workforce, without formal salaries with cost reduction, increased profitability and competitiveness of the mining company? Issues analyzed based on the theoretical framework of researchers Gaiger, Gallo, Pinto e Reisdorfer, Chaddad and Iliopoulos, Eid and Chiariello, Reis, Singer and Becker and Dallabrida. Action research was used as a method for the investigation, anchored in Thiollent, as it is a type of social research with an empirical basis, where interaction and exchange of knowledge between the cooperative family farmers and the researcher took place, enhancing the role of the cooperative workers, in the search for solving or solving the problems found in the diagnosis. Then, an action plan was drawn up, which ended with the COOPRIMA good governance practices manual, which is intended to be a reference to good governance practices in the management of popular cooperatives. A Dissertação de Mestrado objetivou auxiliar no desenvolvimento do manual de governança na gestão da Cooperativa dos Agricultores Familiares e Pequenos Produtores Rurais Primavera - COOPRIMA, no estado do Pará, em apoio ao processo de construção de sua autogestão. Para isso, diagnosticou como as atuais dinâmicas adotadas em seus processos de gestão contribuem ou não para promover a integração e educação cooperativista aos agricultores familiares associados, de modo a incentivá-los em participar em processos decisórios, com equidade e transparência, na busca pelo aprofundamento da autogestão. No decorrer da Dissertação, desenvolveu-se um plano de ação participativo, com o uso da metodologia da pesquisa-ação, para identificar e detalhar as ações, instrumentos e canais de governança para efetivo uso e que, de fato auxiliem para a autogestão da cooprativa. Esta etapa da pesquisa, apoiou-se em autores como Singer, Pinho, Schneider, Buttenbender, et al, e Sabourin, no propósito de verificar o surgimento da filosofia cooperativista e a sua importância para a agricultura familiar e economia solidária no Brasil. Buscou-se ainda, responder como mudanças na governança da gestão em cooperativa popular influencia os processos autogestionários? A COOPRIMA estaria praticando uma forma de resistência, alternativa de ser um apêndice à empresa capitalista, na qual o trabalho supostamente autogestionário terminaria por ser funcional à acumulação, pela flexibilidade no uso da força de trabalho, sem assalariamento formal com redução de custos, aumento da lucratividade e competitividade da empresa mineradora? Questões analisadas com base no referencial teórico dos pesquisadores Gaiger, Gallo, Pinto e Reisdorfer, Chaddad e Iliopoulos, Eid e Chiariello, Reis, Singer e Becker e Dallabrida. Utilizou-se como método para a investigação a pesquisa-ação, ancorada em Thiollent, por ser um tipo de pesquisa social com base empírica, onde ocorreu a interação e trocas de saberes entre os agricultores familiares da cooperativa e o pesquisador, potencializando o protagonismo do coletivo dos trabalhadores cooperados, na busca pela resolução ou equacionamento dos problemas encontrados no diagnóstico. Em seguida, elaborou-se um plano de ação, que findou com o manual de boas práticas de governança da COOPRIMA, o que pretende ser uma referência às boas práticas de governança na gestão de cooperativas populares.
