Resumo:
The method of regional hydrologic models to analyze the flow of long-term average of 24 sub-basin of the Araguaia-Tocantins was performed to predict the flow in a given area that does not have enough data to predict such events. The best linear fit is done with all independent variables studied (drainage area, precipitation, drainage density, length of main river). The best direct correlations were obtained between discharge and drainage area, flow and drainage density and flow rate and length of river. However the correlation between flow and precipitation reached values of 0.78 per year, indicating that despite the low correlation, the importance of precipitation associated with the other components used. The importance of knowledge of the regionalization of hydrological basin is critical to the shaping of their occupation of, and the development of strategic projects for exploiting its resources. The analysis of linear regression used in this study allowed us to suggest an equation that best fit the independent variables where the best fit was obtained using four variables together, so the regression also allowed us to show that the physiographic most important variable was the catchment area which fit better in all regression models and correlation testators. A hydrologic region of the sub-basin 24 showed only one homogeneous hydrologic region to average flow.
