For a long time people with multiple disabilities were labeled as demon-possessed individuals being excluded from social living. At present, actions have been directed towards an inclusive education model, where everyone can be included in the regular school without discrimination and without prejudice. The study seeks to bring a discussion of how the process of inclusion of these students in the regular class has been made considering the challenges presented to both the school and the educators regarding the promotion of inclusion. The study aims to show that these students, when adequately cared for by the use of play materials, have the possibility of impotence of the Specialized Educational Assistance and the use of Assistive Technology as a means that favors learning and enables the student to have more autonomy and social inclusion. To analyze the results, a bibliographic research was used, through the reading of several authors that approach the question. The results show that students are enrolled in regular education, but there is still a need for renewal and expansion of pedagogical actions aimed at this public, as well as adaptations in the physical structures of schools. We also believe that educators should take a more inclusive approach to welcoming all students regardless of their motor, intellectual or physical, psychic, cultural and other characteristic. A presente pesquisa pretende compreender os desafios e possibilidades da educação inclusiva de alunos com deficiências múltiplas no ensino regular. Durante muito tempo as pessoas com deficiências múltiplas foram rotuladas como indivíduos possuídos por demônios sendo excluído do convívio social. Na atualidade ações têm se voltado para um modelo de educação inclusiva, onde todos possam ser incluídos na escola regular sem discriminação e sem preconceito. A pesquisa busca trazer uma discussão de como tem sido feita o processo de inclusão desses alunos na classe regular considerando os desafios que se apresenta, tanto para a escola como para os educadores quanto à promoção da inclusão. O estudo tem como objetivo mostrar que esses alunos, quando atendidos de forma adequada com o uso de materiais lúdicos, têm possibilidade de socialização com as outras crianças e de desenvolver suas habilidades. Temos por objetivo ainda mostrar a importância do Atendimento Educacional Especializado e do uso da Tecnologia Assistiva como meios que favorecem a aprendizagem e possibilitam ao educando mais autonomia e inclusão social. Para análise dos resultados foi utilizada pesquisa bibliográfica, através da leitura de vários autores que abordam o assunto em questão. Por meio dos resultados obtidos, pôde-se constatar que os alunos estão matriculados no ensino regular, mas ainda existe a necessidade de renovação e ampliação das ações pedagógicas voltadas a esse público, assim como adaptações nas estruturas físicas das escolas.
