The Parnaíba Basin is a Paleozoic intracratonic basin located in the western region of Northeastern Brazil, positioned between large ranges of folding where sediments are deposited from the Ordovician to the Tertiary, with magmatic events in the Mesozoic. This basin is in a preliminary exploratory stage, with little expectation in oil exploration, but the available information indicates that it has the basic conditions for the occurrence of hydrocarbon accumulations. In this context, this work presents the results of seismic interpretation of 2D seismic lines 0295-0001, 0295-0002, 0295-0003, 0295-0007, 0295-0008 and 0295-0009, which are part of a project of the National Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP), which aimed to evaluate the oil potential of the Parnaiba Basin. The seismic interpretation was performed with the aid of the interpretation of the composite profile of a well, from the well-seismic calibration and geological map of the area. It was possible to make a correlation between the data from the well log profiles with the reflectors that appear in the seismic sections. In total, ten reflectors were mapped, from the top of the Piauí Formation to what was called the Basement, that had measures ranging from 1.500ms to 2.500ms in Line 0295-0007. By mapping the reflectors, it can be observed that some regions suggest to be depocenters in Lines 0295-0007 and 0295-0008, which may be related to the Transbrasiliana lineament, which is the main regional lineament in Parnaíba Basin. Also, it was built a 2.5 D Geological Structural Model of the geological structures mapped in line 0295-0007 which is the most representative and has the best quality among interpreted seismic lines. To build this model, seismic modeling and modeling software GOCAD (Geological Object Computer Aided Design) were used. The 2.5D Geological Structural Model presented provides a visualization of the structures mapped along this line, especially the Pimenteiras Formation, which is the potentially generating unit, and the Cabeças Formation, which potentially is the reservoir unit, which can contribute to studies in the framework of Petroleum Geology in the Parnaíba Basin.
