Thus, in daily practice, with regard to language, concepts and conclusions on the development of military terminology in a specific work environment and in the social context. Given the above, the objective of this study is to focus the process that is formed in the construction of a communication of these public security agents. For this, the following question is asked: is it possible for the terminology to create a language parallel to the language already used by certain groups? In view of observed aspects, the use of a technical language can influence its users in the construction of a new language outside a specific scope, failing to be part of functional use to become a habitual communication of those who practice, that is, of a new language, considered vital for the practices of the military. From the studies of terminology we will try to define in what form the appropriation of terms of the language of a specific area, and how it naturally influences the linguistic process of certain groups, showing how this migration process occurs. technical language for the everyday, and what effects on communication outside the space of its specific use. It is hoped that this research will contribute to further reflection on the subject in question. By virtue of what has been mentioned, understand this rich but complex vocabulary for those who do not know it. O presente trabalho propõe-se, no âmbito da linguística, discutir o Glossário da terminologia militar: gírias e jargões. Assim mostrar na prática diária, no que se refere à linguagem, conceitos e conclusões sobre o desenvolvimento da terminologia militar em ambiente específico de trabalho e no contexto social. Dado o exposto, o objetivo desse estudo é focalizar o processo que se formata na construção de uma comunicação desses agentes da segurança pública. Para tanto, faz-se o seguinte questionamento: será que é possível a terminologia criar uma linguagem paralela à língua já usada por determinados grupos? Tendo em vista aspectos observados, o uso de uma linguagem técnica pode influenciar seus usuários na construção de uma nova linguagem fora de um âmbito específico, deixando de fazer parte do uso funcional para se transformar em uma comunicação habitual de quem à prática, ou seja, de uma nova linguagem, considerando vital para as práticas do militar. A partir dos estudos da terminologia buscar-se-á definir de que forma acontece a apropriação de termos da linguagem de uma área específica, e como influencia naturalmente o processo linguístico de determinados grupos, mostrando de que forma se dá esse processo de migração da linguagem técnica para o cotidiano, e quais os efeitos na comunicação fora do espaço de seu uso específico. Espera-se que este trabalho de investigação contribua para novas reflexões a respeito do tema em questão.
