The paper accomplishes a study on the development of mobile applications using the programming model WAP. The whole study and diagnosis about those applications, they based on the existent bibliography and in studies of case of the existent services for mobile applications were implemented, belonging one to them an application of service-based Location (SBL) and another of a M-Commerce, to evaluate the potentiality, the problems and the techniques used in its development. With the accomplishment of the work it was possible to identify the resources that are available for this technology; what needs to be implemented to facilitate the development of really differentiated systems; limitations of the language and perspectives for the future. |
