A time filled with many feelings, among them, love, satisfaction, fear, insecurity, many doubts, in which a quality assistance is essential to attend this woman in a humanized way, respecting and asserting their rights. The study emphasizes, through the experiences of women, the importance of humanization in normal childbirth, aiming to reinforce the benefits of this assistance, already recommended by the World Health Organization and Ministry of Health, in addition to clarifying and strengthening the rights of these women, Which are often unknown and / or unrealized, so that they do not receive a humanized care in their labor and delivery, and thus the lack of information and guidance throughout the pregnancy cycle, turns them into mere spectators in their parturition process. OBJECTIVES: To describe the perceptions and experiences of women about humanization in childbirth and normal childbirth and to learn the knowledge of these women about humanized childbirth and its implications during childbirth and childbirth through their experiences. METHOD: a descriptive study with a qualitative approach was carried out in the Accommodation Conjunct (ALCON) of the Santa Casa of Misericordia Foundation of Pará (FSCMPA), with 16 women in a normal postpartum period, through a semi-structured interview. RESULTS: They were constructed from a central directing core, generating five categories of analysis: 1) Humanized childbirth: knowledge vs. ignorance; 2) The importance of guidance in the puerperal pregnancy cycle: the path from prenatal to the process of childbirth and birth; 3) Practices in attention to childbirth and birth: humanization under the perspectives of puerperae; 4) The importance of the link with health professionals in the context of the parturition process with a view to humanization; 5) Violence in obstetric care in the perception of women: the inverse path to humanization at childbirth. Several practices were mentioned by the women related to the experiences of humanization in childbirth, among them the presence of the companion, the skin-to-skin contact with the RN at birth. The freedom of position and movement, the use of non-pharmacological methods of pain relief, and normal childbirth proper as the preferred delivery method. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: In order for humanized childbirth to actually be exercised within health institutions, it is necessary to change professional care, with a great focus on prenatal care, where women can have quality, clear and objective assistance, clarifying their doubts and strengthening their rights, preparing them for labor, childbirth and maternity. Considering that, based on the recognition of her rights, she has understanding and autonomy in her parturition process. INTRODUÇÃO: A gravidez e o parto são processos singulares, experiências únicas e especiais no universo da mulher e de seu parceiro, que envolvem também suas famílias e a comunidade na qual se inserem. Momento repleto de muitos sentimentos, dentre eles, amor, satisfação, medo, insegurança, muitas dúvidas, no qual é imprescindível uma assistência de qualidade para atender essa mulher de forma humanizada, respeitando e fazendo valer seus direitos. O estudo vem ressaltar, através das vivências de mulheres, a importância da humanização no parto normal, almejando reforçar os benefícios dessa assistência, já recomendada pela Organização Mundial de Saúde e Ministério da Saúde, além de esclarecer e fortalecer os direitos dessas mulheres, direitos esses que muitas vezes são desconhecidos e/ou não realizados, fazendo com que as mesmas não recebam um cuidado humanizado em seu trabalho de parto e parto, e assim pela falta de informação e orientação durante todo o ciclo gravídico, as transforma em meras expectadoras no seu processo de parturição. OBJETIVOS: descrever as percepções e vivências de mulheres acerca da humanização no trabalho de parto e parto normal e apreender o conhecimento dessas mulheres a respeito do parto humanizado e suas implicações durante o trabalho de parto e parto por meio de suas vivências. MÉTODO: procedeu-se um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado no Alojamento conjunto (ALCON), da Fundação Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Pará (FSCMPA), com 16 mulheres em pós-parto normal, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada. RESULTADOS: foram construídos a partir de um núcleo direcionador central, gerando cinco categorias de análise: 1) O parto humanizado: conhecimento x desconhecimento; 2) A importância da orientação no ciclo gravídico puerperal: o caminho desde o pré-natal até o processo de parto e nascimento; 3) Práticas na atenção ao parto e nascimento: a humanização sob as perspectivas das puérperas; 4) A importância do vínculo com os profissionais de saúde no contexto do processo parturitivo com vistas à humanização; 5) A violência na assistência obstétrica na percepção das mulheres: o caminho inverso à humanização no parto. Diversas práticas foram mencionadas pelas mulheres relacionadas às vivências de humanização no parto, dentre elas destacam-se a presença do acompanhante, o contato pele a pele imediato com o RN ao nascimento, a liberdade de posição e movimento, a utilização de métodos não farmacológicos de alívio da dor, e o parto normal propriamente dito como via de parto de preferência. CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS: para que o parto humanizado seja de fato exercido dentro das instituições de saúde, é necessária a mudança da assistência profissional, com grande enfoque no pré-natal, onde a mulher possa ter uma assistência de qualidade, clara e objetiva, esclarecendo suas dúvidas e fortalecendo seus direitos, preparando-a para o trabalho de parto, parto e maternidade.
