Given the increasing technological devices’ usage around the world, as well as a real concern with the disposal of electronic waste resulting from their consumption, the need arises to give them the appropriate destination, seeking ways to minimize this environmental problem using methods to reuse them and give them a new functionality. Based on this perspective, this monograph presents a study on electronic waste found in Abaetetuba, a town in Pará state of Brazil, which is based on a research with information coming from visits and interviews carried out at the main electronics repair shops around the town. Through these visits and interviews, it was possible to have a more accurate view on how this problematic applies in the region. These results were exposed through graphs and tables, which contributed to obtain numbers referring to the amount of garbage produced in the town, monthly about 340 and annually around 4045 defective devices discarded, which was surprising for the town’s small size. Thereafter, analyzes and discussions were also made. Moreover, an Electronic Waste Recycling Company Implementation Proposal in the town was made, as well the mapping of the visited electronics repair shops, so that a Collect Point and the probable company’s Installation Area, both of which being of strategic importance, as well as an Action Plan formulation if the company is to be implemented in the future.
