This article aims to show that Child Literature is a gender of paramount importance for the education of the child within the school. Children's literature is one of the richest and most significant moments within educational institutions, and it is not understood a pedagogical proposal that does not include in their curriculum the children's contact with the wonderful books of children's literature. This is the theme we seek to emphasize in children's literature as a fundamental element for the development of imagination and fantasy. We also sought to identify the posture adopted by teachers in face of these difficulties in which students face about reading. The purpose of this work is to carry out the teaching practice effectively, through the supervised internship practiced in the 8th semester. It comes from non-practicing observations carried out in past works, which made them realize the enormous lack of schools in relation to reading. And starting from this assumption, we aim to provide a pleasant reading and at the same time open doors to new knowledge. I seek to develop in this project through a diversified methodology that fled the traditional between four walls, pencil and paper, but rather that touched the desire and sharpen the interest and the perception of the child in reading and the magical and rich world of learning.
