In the present work, we conducted an analysis of Periurban agriculture in the neighborhood of Curuçambá, in the municipality of Ananindeua-PA, in order to verify and map the spatial distribution of the production areas and the commercialization circuit of the vegetables Produced by family farming in this region. Agricultural activities in urban areas have been affirmed as an important strategic segment in relation to the food supply of the metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB) and to the socioeconomic development of farmers. The methodology consisted of locating the properties through Google Earth Pro, in which it allowed to locate the agricultural production practiced in this neighborhood and the spatialization of the data obtained through the QGIS 2.18 software. Through the tools of geoprocessing, it was possible to carry out the socio-economic analyses of the community, characterize the marketing circuit and map the production areas. As results, we highlight the reduction of areas destined to the planting of vegetables, where some properties were replaced by recreational areas, used by soccer fields being one of the leisure means of the community which points to the reduction of areas of Thus allowing the generation of income and employment to the local community. |
