Percentiles was done through a categorization of dry and rainy periods, which were analyzed under a pentad time scale (average rainfall of 5 days), using a table of pentads with corresponding dates. The study period was made for the wettest trimester (February, March and April), taking into consideration the percentiles of 0.85 and 0.15 corresponding to the periods, the wettest and driest . Were used rainfall data from INMET, ROL of the CPC for Belém city. Were seen in the phenomena that influence the region. The pentad rainfall P16, P18 and P21, had the highest levels compared to normal rainfall and pentad P7, P9, P14, P16 P20, P24, pentads the driest for the percentile below 0.15. Despite the years of El nino represent a decrease of precipitation in the state of Para, which have in some pentads is positive anomaly values for rainfall, as well as the opposite for the years of La Niña.
