Aiming to contribute to the teaching of basic education in Geosciences presents a physical
model to be used as a teaching support in addressing concepts of Seismology. For the
experiment "Location of Epicenter" can be played by teachers and students are given details
of construction, materials and information on the program developed Epicenter.exe the
acquisition and processing of real data acquired at trial. Through the development of the
model, as well as concepts of geology, physics concepts, mathematics and computing can be
addressed. This model was created by Analog Modeling Laboratory, Faculty and Graduate
Program in Geophysics, Federal University of Pará and is part of the exhibition "What is
Geophysics?". |
